  • Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to define suicidal ideation, suicidal behavior, and non-suicidal self-injury.
  • Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to identify risk and protective factors associated with suicide risk in youth.
  • Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to describe the different steps of a suicide safety planning intervention.
  • Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to describe distress tolerance skills as one set of strategies to support suicidal youth in managing intense emotions.
