Learning Objectives

About the speaker

Abigail Zisk, PhD

Psychologist

Dr. Zisk is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and a licensed clinical psychologist in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She received her PhD from the University of Delaware, completed her clinical internship at New York University Langone-Bellevue Hospital, and completed her postdoctoral psychology fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Westchester Division/Weill Cornell Medicine. In her current role, Dr. Zisk provides assessment and intervention services to children, adolescents, and their families through CHOP’s Child and Adolescent Mood Program and Comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents Program. She also provides clinical supervision to behavioral health trainees, lectures on evidence-based services for depressed and suicidal youth, and is involved in CHOP’s Zero Suicide Quality Improvement Initiative, through which she provides trainings in implementing safety planning interventions.
