Consensual non-monogamy (CNM) has become an increasingly visible form of relationships over the past 20-30 years. Learning Objectives
- Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to develop a comprehensive definition of consensual non-monogamy
- Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to describe concerns, both clinical and non-clinical, faced by non-monogamous people
- Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to identify common mononormative biases and analyze their own thoughts and values related to CNM
- Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to outline at least two strategies towards approaching psychotherapy with clients who practice consensual non-monogamy
