Renée M. Calhoun, LMFT, CAADC, CCDPD is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience across outpatient, family-based, and drug and alcohol treatment settings. She is dually licensed in Pennsylvania and New York and holds advanced certifications in substance use and co-occurring disorders. Renée specializes in systemic family therapy, trauma recovery, and program development.
For over five years, Renée has operated a thriving private practice, providing virtual therapy to individuals, couples, and families with a focus on trauma, addiction recovery, and navigating complex family systems. More recently, she transitioned into a dual role—continuing to run her private practice while serving as the Program Development Specialist at Worthwhile, a nonprofit dedicated to serving survivors of human trafficking and those affected by trauma. In this position, she offers clinical insight, shapes programming across multiple populations, and ensures trauma-informed best practices are embedded in all initiatives.
Her background includes leadership roles in outpatient addiction treatment, site direction, and county-level clinical supervision. She has trained hundreds of professionals on topics including trauma, family dynamics, substance use, and human trafficking prevention. Renée is also a passionate educator, having taught undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology and counseling for over a decade.
