Ayo is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been practicing for over 10 years, with a variety of clients. Her practice is primarily focused on collegiate and professional athletes, while also treating individuals who work in other high performance arenas. She has extensive experience working with individuals and couples, as they cope with stressful sports/work transitions, as well as different relational challenges. Ayo views the clinical work primarily from a psychodynamic lens and believes neuroplasticity is the answer to creating long lasting change.
As a 2x graduate of Texas Tech University, Ayo is a proud Red Raider. She left the university with a bachelors degree focused on Exercise & Sports Sciences, Social Work, and Legal Studies, and a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. When she is not practicing as a therapist, you can find her traveling, working out, roaming an art gallery, or spending time with family and friends.
